Pan Pizza

There's several good keto recipes for pizza but they usually include fairly involved recipes for a crust. The good news is that you don't need a crust at all! And losing the crust means a super quick, simple way to make a carnivore snack!

Simply heat a non-stick pan on medium. I recommend copper or ceramic non-stick pans since most others include Teflon, a highly toxic chemical that can leach into food. Even pans that advertise "No Teflon" can still include the same chemicals, since Teflon is actually just a trademarked name.

Cover the pan with a thin layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. The harder and drier the mozzarella you can find, the better this will work. Lay pepperonis on top and if you want, add a thin layer of shredded Parmesan on top too. Let cook until the edges and underside look browned and almost crispy. If gaps in the pizza develop as the cheese cooks, simply add a little more cheese.

This recipe isn't considered "no spices" because any pepperoni you buy will have some spices and usually a very small amount of sugar in it as well. If you're concerned about this, check out some of my other snack recipes instead!

Since most carnivores, if they do eat dairy, make it secondary in their diet after meat, I reserve recipes like this that are mostly cheese for "snacks".

You can slice this up like normal pizza, or fold it over and eat it like a calzone! It's much better warm since it will get chewy if it cools to room temperature.
